<\/a><\/p>\nSometimes I can’t help but wonder, “What Ever Became of It?”<\/strong>\u00a0 As a painter and Do-It-Yourselfer, I’ll pour my heart into a particular project, and once done, never see it again.\u00a0 It doesn’t bother me.\u00a0 But it sure is nice sometimes, when people send me pictures of a canvas I painted, or a piece of furniture I redid, and I get to see how it’s being put to use in daily life.\u00a0 That was certainly the case with the picture you see above.\u00a0 I worked on both the rocking horse and the rocking chair well before that sweet little blue-eyed girl was born.\u00a0 And to have a photo of her using them absolutely melts my heart.<\/p>\n Just for fun, I have to show you the glossy brown, googly-eyed, hand-me down rocking horse that it once was.\u00a0 A little sanding, painting, and googly-eye-removing was all that was needed.\u00a0 (See similar projects by clicking www.muralsbymarcy.com\/hand-painted-childrens-furniture\/ )<\/em><\/p>\n BEFORE<\/p><\/div>\n Goodbye Google Eye!<\/p><\/div>\n AFTER<\/p><\/div>\n Then there’s this family photo that was sent to me that includes a wooden sign I made and painted.\u00a0 Seriously, there are no words to describe how precious this is to me.\u00a0 (Check out that blog entry with step-by-step instructions on how to make a wooden sign by clicking\u00a0http:\/\/www.muralsbymarcy.com\/diy-wooden-sign\/ )<\/em><\/p>\n Courtesy: Lizzie Bee Photography<\/p><\/div>\n Which brings me to one of the least anticipated photos of all time.\u00a0 Just recently, you’ll recall I took an old nightstand and turned it into a little girl’s play kitchenette.\u00a0 I just had to share so that you, too, would see What Ever Became of It?\u00a0<\/strong> I made it for my great niece, Scarlett, who is as cute as they come.\u00a0 We don’t live in the same state, so I don’t get to see her much, but I’m told she loves playing with it.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>
